Today marks my 15 month Log In Date anniversary. At this point I'm kinda feeling like I'm in a standstill. The 6 month wait I was told to expect when I started this process (23 months ago) seems to be haunting me. Now It seems like with every new months referral batches that are issued I am left thinking yet again, "Okay 6 more months till I see my babies face". ... Big Sigh...........Wednesday, March 07, 2007

Happy #15! Waiting stinks, it really, really does. This time last year I was sure I would never see my baby. It happens and I will be celebrating with you when it does!

I join you in officially being very discouraged. We are 20 months into our wait for a referral for our daughter in Russia. My agency said yesterday they hope to process our adoption by the end of 2007. That could mean 2 1/2 years of waiting for a referral! Luke was home 7 months after we turned in our dossier. It appears international adoption has slowed down in many countries. What makes me crazy is that I know their our babies in the orphanages, I have seem them! Praying the process speeds up for all of us!

Fifteen...crazy, isn't it? But think how quickly Christmastime always arrives and Abby is soooo gonna be here with you before then! You are gonna be a mommy soon Jenny!!

Congratulations on reaching this 15 month milestone. It's hard to believe we're celebrating such numbers but when we realized it means we're 15 months closer to our lovebugs it makes it a little easier!

Our LIDs are so close...I think we'll have pictures in June, what do you think?
Thanks for your comment on Sophie's blog Jenny! Abby will be in your arms before you know it and then this wait time will all be forgotten. We too feel like it is dragging on...soon 12 months since LID for us. Quite a bit different than referral time for Sophie....it was 5 1/2 months at that time! Unbelievable!
