On another note though...... Look what I woke up to this morning. A spring snow storm! Not really a storm but still. We rarely get any significant snow fall. We also had an unusually mild winter this year. Now for it to even snow on April 7th?? And On my LID???? Last week we had a day in the low 80's and I actually broke down and had my air on for a day. (only a day but I have had my windows open since then) Last night I closed my windows, turned my heat back on, and used my gas logs. Tonight it is for forcasted to drop into the 20's. Crazy times.

Pretty snow...pretty Willow.
At least is is 16 less. That much is good.
Happy Easter, Jenny!
I love the Willow Tree figurines. They are so sweet.
I still believe this is your year! Abby is coming to you!
Oh that last picture is beautiful, brings back memories of a childhood that feels so far away now!
Congrats on 17 months. I know it must be grueling not knowing how much longer... hang in there though, your time WILL come!
I love that willow tree figurine too...it's new this year...I've added it to my "must have" list!!
A woman I've known for a couple of years recently moved into the office next to mine. She is a single mom by choice. Her daughter, Amy, is a beautiful, energetic, loving girl - it shows in her smile. Dawn adopted Amy 7 years ago from China. Even back then, she said it was an excrutiating long/wait - 18 months from LID. Amy was 9 months old when Dawn had her placed in her arms.
Dawn has a very supportive family close by. There are so many parrallels between the 2 of you. It leaves me with faith and hope and all that is wonderful waiting for you. It will happen.
All my love,
Aunt Debbie
I'd like to say happy 16th month anniversary. I know there's not too much happy about it when you're not sure how much longer you'll have to wait. We just have to believe that it's right around the cornner. Maybe I'll say happy anniversary of surviving the last 16 months.
((Hugs))
Lisa
I wish I could say something that would make you feel better. Hang in there!
