You guys are the bomb!!
HI blog buddies!! Aunt Laurie here. just copied and pasted comments to send to jen in an email and hit refresh at least four times in the time it took to compose the email and there was always another comment! you all mean so much to jenny...i know your comments will help put things in perspective and lift her up. haven't heard anything new from jen. will post as soon as i do. i'm all warm and tingly inside just thinking of jenny finally holding her daughter in her arms.

Please don't worry about what precious Abby will have to wear! All she's been waiting for is you!!! You are all she needs and the rest will work itself out!!! Looking forward to great pictures!

Just think - all the new things you buy her - will be the special items that you look back on and laugh and hug to your heart - Abby will come to you with the clothes on her back - she does not care about that (in the long run) She wants her mommy! So go get her- and use this as an excuse to SHOP!!!

I've been out all day, and haven't been able to check on young Jenny - and I've missed the comment call!! Bummer!!
Saying a little prayer for you, Jenny... Luggage isn't all it's cracked up to be (and I know, coz ours didn't make it, on one of our trips to Bali!) Abby is what it's all about!
It'll all work out fine, even if you are a little smelly!!! Just make sure you're standing next to someone smellier than you!!! Remember... you can always turn your undies inside out for an extra day of use!!! (that little jewel of a tip, is courtesy of my Dad!!!)
I am sure I am speaking for everyone else here in that....we are happy to do whatever we can for jenny as she would and does that for everyone else...she is very special and Abby is going to be one lucky little girl!

I was out all day yesterday and didn't read the post about her luggage being stuck in CA. I sure hope they are able to get her luggage to her rather quickly but if not, she will still be fine. I followed the journey of one woman and her 7 year old son through China.. they did not have their luggage until Guangzhou. They made it though and the trip was just as good because they had their sweet daughter/sister in their arms. :0) Things will be fine. I have faith that the luggage will arrive while they are still in Beijing! Blessings

Oh Jenny, so sorry you've got this to worry about. In the grand scheme of things, it really is no big deal -- Abby will have plenty of time to wear all of her pretty things in the months to come.
Please don't stress this. I know you want everything to be "perfect" but it won't be. Abby will need some time to get used to you and her new life, and pretty new clothes won't make it easier. Just being wrapped in Mommy's arms will.
Yeah, we're all excited on this side of the Atlantic/Pacific...can't you tell? Glad you made it safely and ENJOY THE GREAT WALL!
