Abby does the Beach
Okay so not really the ocean beach. More like the bay beach. We just got back from a week of family fun in Cape Charles Virginia. Da rented two condos and the whole family came. I decided to try and do a little photo shoot of Abby at the beach one day. Some of the shots turned out pretty decent but a lot of them are a little blurry. My camera that I used to love pre Abby has suddenly become pretty inadequate. I am contemplating the purchase of a Nikon. I have seen what others have done with theirs on other blogs and I like it. I'm just wondering how user friendly it is for those who are not really that technical or experienced with more sophisticated cameras. Anyways enjoy the pictures :)

She is a beauty! The Nikon D40 can pretty much be used as a point and shoot. I'm sure you can do a lot more with it...I just need to read the owner's manual!

My old camera wasn't fast enough for my "MOVING" target! Hoping this one is much better...I've only heard good things about it.

I've just purchased the Nikon D40. Still a huge learning curve ahead of me but from the start I was able to take pictures that I'm happy with. If you're looking for a SLR camera I'd recommend looking at the Nikon D40.

I also am finding that what I thought was a great camera is only good for pictures of thing that are not moving.... Hence I will be updating also.

There is no better setting than the beach for pictures! Then add a beautiful girl and...WOW!! Abby is getting so big so fast! What a precious, precious girly she is!!
She is so cute. good pics too. I agree you need at least a faster shutterspeed to catch a child on the move!!
