Another one

So I really have not so much to post. I am just hanging out waiting for the referral rumors to start and anticipating how far they will actually get. Anyhoo, I have another opinion question for all of you out there.

Bumper pads. Did you leave them in your crib or take them out??????

Eliza still has them in her crib and will until the day I take her crib down (which hopefully won't happen for a really long time!). I'm afraid the little wild woman would bonk her head without them.

I never had them - with older babies they can be a hazard when they learn to climb on them and catapult themselves out of the crib easier. If you are worried about them getting stuck in the rails, I think they make mesh ones that fit tight to the side of the crib....

I have to agree with desert mama....we did not even buy them as they are known more to be a hazard for the age we get our girls at....

my twin boys used them as stepping stools and would climb form one crib to the other. They didn't last long.

They're in there now to make the crib look cute but I suspect they won't last long if my kid is anything like her high-energy mama!

I didn't put any in as I remember that my son used them to help him get out of his crib!

I agree with Tiffany. Mia is 2 1/2 and I still have them in. She is a wild sleeper and would smack her head on her rails. Mine came with the bed quilt set so it wasn't something we bought extra. The only problem we have is that our side bed rails are thick and the tie string is small, so some have come off. I think it is a personal thing you will need to try and see how it goes for each kid.

None of my nephews had them after a few months of age, due to the safety issue. Plus older kids like to be able to see out...

I think they just dress the drib up..I'll leave mine in.

Heres to some good rumers soon.

Didn't need a crib. If your baby is young enough you might want one. Older babies can use them to climb on. Maybe your precious one won't be that spirited. Of course spirited kids are a lot of fun.

I vote for waiting til we see how big Abby is or how old anyway. You can always take them out after we get home. xo mom

I just took Annslee's out a month ago (she will be 3 in Oct) She wasn't trying to climb out but I wanted to give her more room..plus it is a HUGE pain changing sheets with them.

Bumper pads I bought when Thomas was born and then took them out three months later.
As Zoe was 8 months I never used them.

They look cute but that's about it.
Just my 2 cents worth!
