Sprinkler, Bubbles and Ice Cream :)

Last weekend Mommy goofed and got the day wrong for a Birthday party we were supposed to attend. I felt horrible cuz I put little girl through a rather lengthy car ride with no end result. It was right in the middle of our Saturday so I racked my brain trying to think of a last minute activity that would be fun for Abby. We ended up picking up Sissy and going to buy a sprinkler and some ice cream for later. Who knew. Abby loved the sprinkler and Sissy was a trooper playing out there with her. My pictures really didn't turn out but you can see the pure joy in her face. She was so cute and love it :) First up Abby and Sissy.

Loving it :)
Good times!
Juice break.

We also blew bubbles. My girl loves her some bubbles! Some of the pictures are out of order as evidenced by the ice cream on her face related to the next group of photos.

As far as I know this was her first ice cream cone ever. She was really too little last year.

She was loving it :)

And finally a shot attempted by Sissy ;)

Thank you Sissy for being such a great cousin and for making such a wonderfully fun day for Abby! We love you :)

Fathers Day and Abby Cam

Time. There never seems to be enough of it these days. One day quickly flows into the next and before I know it another week has gone by. It's almost scary. I'm thinking that working five eight hour days a week verses three twelve hour days is a big part of it. I'm also thinking that working five days a week is no better then three. Oh well not working at all is not an option and I should be thankful I have a job.

Abby is doing great. Growing like a weed and talking a mile a minute. It's very cool that we can now have actual conversations. I'm also so enjoying watching her imagination flourish. She's too cute and I'm constantly surprised with the ideas she comes up with. While trying at times two and a half is also a very cute age :) We are keeping busy these days when I am off. Summertime is here and it has been wicked hot! 90 plus each day or close to it. Mommy really prefers cooler temps but sucks it up as best as she can for my girl. Were heading for a beach vacation soon. It will be the first time she sees the actual ocean with waves verses the Bay or river. I can't wait to see what she thinks of it. We have plans to meet up with Abby Two in September. Abby Two is Abby's china sister. They even shared the same Nanny at the SWI. We haven't seen M and C along with Abby Two since china. It will be wonderful to get together with these wonderful and very special folks that we will forever share a bond with. Now some shots from Fathers day. I didn't take many but some one got a hold of my camera and took some shots of her own :) The first several are Abby's :)

Getting warmed up with a ceiling shot.

Self portrait (almost)

A little better :)

Working the room :)

Pretty good that time Abby :) Uncle Pete and Josh.

She managed to catch Da and Uncle Chris too :)

Nauticus

Last weekend Abby and I had a play date with Mackenzie or Kenzie as Abby calls her. Kenzies brother and another one of my friends with her two sons met us at Nautic*us. The girls are buddies so I really only have shots of the two of them. It was also the museums 15Th anniversary so just a little busy that day but we still had fun :)

Looking out the window at the USS Wisconsin battleship.

Through the window

She definitely did not want to sit on the airplane.

Peek :)

I'm not sure who was captain and who was first mate? And yep! Kenzie had a wardrobe change

They had pirates walking around. "I scared of Pirates Mommy" is what she told me later that night.

Checking out the ......

Nurses sharks! There was actually a good 3 feet between the tank and the fence. It just looks closer. The guide told us that as long as the sharks stay close to each other they feel safe and are not hostile. They used to let people pet them but no longer because these sharks were getting ready to be released back into the wild.

Later we climbed aboard the USS Wisconsin and got to look around. I took advantage of the great photo opportunity.

Just plain cool! The history and what this ship has seen......

I love this one :)

And these two :)

And here she is with the fellas :)

So another cool place that has been here 15 years and yet I have never been there. Abby is really helping me branch out a little bit :)
