Happy Sunday :)

First off, THANKS to everybody for all of your supportive comments in regards to the paci (Or "papa" as Abby calles it). I know she won't still be sucking on it when she goes to college so until then we will just continue to work on slowky phasing it out.

Abby and I got up and out early yesterday. They had a "Mothers of Multiples" sale and I was hoping we might score some good deals. We got there at 9:00 and it started at 8:00. Lesson learned. By 9:00 all the good stuff was gone. So we ventured over to one of my favorite children's consignment stores and found some good stuff there. Abby is really into shoes. We found two pairs of Barbie dress up shoes there waiting to be purchased.

And some Mama's shoes pictures too. Just cuz I think they are cute :)

Thought this last shoe was gone for good. We lost a sandal last weekend while trying to find D batteries in prep for Hanna's impending arrival. It was in Krogers parking lot. After the storm passed I thought for sure somebody would have picked it up and turned it in. We asked but no such luck. So a week later we asked again. This time a cashier mentioned that she had seen the sandal in the parking lot sitting on a lamp post. Sure enough it was still there. A week later through a tropical storm and it still lights up :)

I just put little Miss down for a nap and she went willingly. Poor baby is battling her 3rd (or is it 4Th?) cold since starting day care. Just wondering. Do any of you out there give your toddlers vitamins? And if so which ones? I'm thinking of getting some for her. Maybe they will boost her immunity to all of those nasty critters?

LOVE the shoes...
I think every little girl and big girls LOVE shoes...
On the vitamins.. I use to give the kids the dropper ones when really little , then they went to Flinstones.. I have heard the gummy vitamins are good..
But not too sure.. but I will love an update so I do know.. thanks girly..
Hope she gets that tooth through easily..
Hugs..
Have a Great Sunday..

I have given Leila Flinstones with iron (she was mildly anemic when I brought her home...and the pediatrician recommended I put her on them), but they didn't really help keep her from getting sick. She had to build her own immunity against the daycare nasties. After two years, her last year at daycare was virtually sick free. She just started Kindergarten and she is sick this weekend with all the new nasties at her new school. So...honestly, I think it's unavoidable...BUT, I do think the vitamins help her get rid of the nasties quicker...her colds don't really last more than 2 days! Most pediatricians will tell you to stay away from the gummi vitamins...too much sugar to get logged in their teeth...and let's face it...they are not the best tooth brushers, are they?

That is amazing about the shoe. We lost Mia's crown in Epcot over vacation and it would have been nice if somone was honest and turned it into lost and found. Luckily she didn't freak out when we realized it was gone.

Sorry. Can't help on the vitamin question. We are lucky and Mia hasn't had to do daycare. We are using the MIL.

She does love her shoes:)
That is to funny about her sandle bring there that long.
I just went back and read the comments from the other post you did as I though when did you talk about her paci?
First of all you are way to nice..it is NO ones business if Abby has a paci at 2 or not. My youngest was 14 months when we adopted him and he was a thumb sucker. He needed his thumb and when he was asleep even at 5 his thumb went in his mouth. He is now 11, does not suck his thumb, no one knows he did and he has PERFECT teeth! I was concerned as I though his teeth were sticking out but once his big teeth came in his teeth are fine. I can not stand when someone who does not know you or your child feels it is their right to leave comments like that.
Abby is ADORABLE with or without the paci in her mouth!

Great pictures!!
If you feed your daughter a healthy balanced diet she doesn't need vitamins. Try to buy organic when you can and wash her hands as soon as she leaves daycare.

I don't think vitamins will help with preventing colds, although they can't hurt. Just hang in there...the first year of child care is the worst for colds!

Love all the pictures of your cute girl!

She's getting so big! Still as adorable as ever . . .

Mali's only been on antibiotics once for a cold since we've been home from China. We're big on vitamins. I give her a children's multi-vitamin with extra C every day & we use these as well (daily maintenance doses):

The probiotics I linked (first link) are for kids 3+, but they sell similar products for babies.

Good luck fighting the day care funk!
