So I'm thinking most people think the word verification thing is a pain in the butt. I took that feature off of my comments a while back and besides 1 strange comment that I deleted I have yet to receive any spam. So bloggers unite! Take off that anti spam feature for your comments that makes you type the word 2 and 3 times sometimes when you swear you typed it correctly the first time. Whats the worst thing that can happen? If you find yourself getting spam then just add the anti spam feature back to your comments :P

I took mine off several months ago.
I got spam EVERY.SINGLE.POST that i did.
I was constantly having to delete spam comments, so I put up word verification again.
I know so many people that don't have W.V. and have no problems, but I kid you not when I tell you that I got spam comments on every single post when I took mine off.
Amen sister! I've never had it on, and I've never had a spam comment! That's a big pet peeve of mine!
Also those that don't have their email address on their profile, so when they leave me a comment, I can't respond back to them. Sometimes these people ask me a question (so they want a response, right???) and I type out the email and go to send... only to realize that it says no reply in the email address. Grrrrr!

We got our referral in late November and traveled in January and it was cold, but awesome! YOUR perfect baby will be ready for you. I swear once you see her face all of this will be forgotten.

AMEN!!!!! I hate that thing and am always so happy when I come to a site that does not use it. I sometimes get spammed, but it is no big deal. I delete it when I find it and move on.
Didn't know I had that option!

One of my first comments was an eeery reply about my daughter.
I deleted it and started moderating comments.
