Another Nursery update

Sorry. Still no pictures to post of Abby's nursery yet. I am still waiting for my other curtain and hooks to arrive from target. I also have a shelf that I painted but now I can't figure out how to hang it. It doesn't have the usual holes on the back to hang it so I think I will have to use some brackets. It's times like this when I really wish I had a husband to help me.

Mean while where are all the rumors? Referral time is coming soon but there doesn't seem to be much of anything out there. I'm still trying to decide if I am better off with or without the Rumor Queen. I know she is back but the site just hasn't seemed the same since she has returned. I know it is probably healthier for me now that I am not experiencing the constant ups and downs that the rumors bring. At the same time though, the not knowing what to expect is pretty hard too........ Now that I think about it I think that I am better off not having any idea what to expect. That's what I think right now anyway.

Spring is here now too. A time of renewal and freshness. Also a reminder of what is soon to come. A new life and a new beginning! I am so excited to see what unfolds.......

All right, you may not have a masculine figure, but you do have. me, ie Meema. Let me look at it and if I can't figure it out then we have Da and Uncle Pete!! Let us at it. Love, mom xo

Ya know what, woman friend o'mine. Even the times when I had a man in the house I always managed to figure out how to make things happen...no matter what. You can too :0)

Yeah, it gets old not having any help at times. But, it is going to take one special kind of man to make it worth it. I still wonder if he exists in our generation.

Looking forward to seeing that nursery. You are getting ever so closer to seeing your Abby in it!

Ali and I were watching an episode of Leave It To Beaver several months back. June Cleaver asked Ward to come in the kitchen to replace an electrical outlet faceplate!!! We've come a long way baby. BTW - I have some metal stars to hang in the sunroom and I can't for the life of me figure out how to secure them. The hook is weird. ;-)

Love,
Aunt Debbie
Looking forward to those nursery pictures!

I agree with the husband comment. I always think the same thing when it's time to mow the grass, shovel snow or something starts leaking around the house. But then I come to my senses! :)

Sounds to me like you are nesting! I think that means that Abby's arrival is nearing. I say don't pay much attention to the Rumor Queen. Abby is coming and she is coming soon. Enjoy these last few months. You have been on a rollercoaster for quite some time but when Abby comes home you will be on the "ride" of your life. What a ride it is! :)
love ya, Mary

Just read CJ's comment and was wishing I didn't have to pay someone to figure out what's going on with my MB sink- pressure is down the tubes (no pun intended). But I am amazed at how much I handle on my own, that I never thought I could (or would ever have to)...

Can't wait til the nursery comes together and we get to see pics, I'm excited for you as your wait time lessens and lessens (wow, almost 16 months LID!!).

I love what your mom wrote above! What a sweetie. We've all had moments like that. What we really need is the number of a good handy man. ;-)

I can hardly wait to see pictures of the nursery.
